A PAIR OF 54-BORE PERCUSSION BOXLOCK MUFF-PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial numbers,
Belgian circa 1835, with etched damascus 2 1/16in. round tapering turn-off barrels (frozen), false rifling at the muzzles, rounded scroll engraved boxlock actions with carved offset nipple-bosses, offset central hammers and smooth bulbous bag-shaped ebony butts with swivelling traps at the pommels and concealed automatic triggers (one pistol action slightly at fault)
