26in. nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt rib, the tubes engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, self-opening action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, best bouquet and scroll engraving, the underside engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. LONDON. ENGLAND' in a decorative oval, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock, weight 5lb. 7oz. in a lightweight leather motor case with accessories
