P663340186, in quickly-detachable mounts, the rings with ropework border engraving, the front ring finely engraved with a central thistle motif, action with side-bolsters, removable striker discs, elongated top tang, automatic safety, hand-detachable lockplates (internally signed Joseph Brazier Ashes) with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, the action, lockplates and furniture finely carved in high relief with stylised scrolling acanthus and floral motifs on a dark matted background, the lockplates with finely engraved vignettes in bulino style of a leopard to the left and a lion to the right, the underside with a cape buffalo, the triggerplate signed 'FAUSTI G Creative Art', bright finish overall, 14 5/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling swivels, including 5/8in. leather-covered recoil pad, beavertail fore-end, weight 10lb. 5oz.
