A 9mm (PARA) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL MODEL 'P08 LUGER', serial no. 7641, WITH HOLSTER,
dated for 1937, with 4in. barrel, later German commercial proofs, dove-tailed fore-sight blade, standing notch rear-sight, the top of breech bearing the date, the top of toggle with German manufacturer's code 'S/42' for Mauser, blued receiver and frame, chequered walnut grips, aluminium-based magazine, all matching numbers except magazine, together with its period leather holster dated '1936', a spare aluminium based magazine number '8241' and a loading tool, much original finish throughout
