A BRASS-BOUND WALNUT CASE FOR A PAIR OF DUELLING-PISTOLS WITH 'WESTLEY-RICHARDS' TRADE-LABEL,
circa 1820, with double-banded lower corners, shaped brass corners to the lid, flush-fitting rectangular handle, the interior stripped of compartments and with partial relining, an original later Westley Richards parchment label inside lid, internal dimensions 18in. x 7 3/4in. x 2in. deep, clipped corner escutcheoned lock (no key)
