circa 1900, with signed blued 26in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, the top of breech marked with the calibre, blued border engraved slab-sided receiver, tear-drop cocking indicator to right hand side, chequered walnut butt-stock, iron furniture including heel-plate with central trapdoor and under-lever, chequered walnut splinter fore-end and eyelets for sling.
