dated for 1886, with 33 1/4in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, slab-sided receiver marked on the right hand side with the 'VR' crown device, together with maker, model and date, walnut half-stock with Enfield and farsi stamps, long under-lever, further farsi marks to the trigger-guard bow, three-quarter fore-end, iron furniture and original iron clearing rod
