the pair being a consolidation of 19th century parts, with etched damascus rifled 7 1/2in. octagonal barrels, bead fore-sights, solid top-tangs, bar-action locks reduced in size and converted from flint (some pitting), walnut saw-handled butts with chequered grips, applied carved ivory pommels, spurred trigger-guard bows, white-metal fore-end caps and applied under-barrel ribs with ivory tipped mahogany ramrods; TOGETHER WITH a mahogany lidded walnut storage case re-lined and compartmented for these pistols in purple baize
