circa 1855, with twist iron 10in. octagonal smooth-bore barrel with squared patent breech, diminutive blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, scroll engraving and platinum line at breech, carved snail with engraved platinum plug, fully engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock signed 'GREENER' with blued hammer (spur cracked) and sliding safe, walnut half-stock with swept and chequered pistol-grip, moulded iron butt-cap, spurred trigger guard bow with single set trigger, horn fore-end tip and nickel-mounted ebony ramrod, strong amount of finish and colour remaining
