circa 1860, with twist iron 36in. barrels, the top-rib almost certainly spuriously signed 'W. RICHARDS LONDON', scroll engraved top-tang, borderline and scroll engraved bar-action locks also signed 'W. RICHARDS', walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture, the lower tang stamped '2' possibly for the second of a pair and brass-tipped wood ramrod
