circa 1785, with re-browned twist iron slightly swamped octagonal barrel, the top-flat signed 'TWIGG, LONDON' (rubbed), engraved ball-band at breech, engraved top-tang, diminutive fore-sight bead and notch rear-sight, plain lock with moulded bevel-edge and step tail, signed below the pan 'TWIGG', en-suite hammer, roller frizzen and bolted safe, figured walnut full-stock with slab-sided bag-shaped butt and rococo scrolled apron around the top-tang, iron furniture including acorn finial and horn tipped wood ramrod.
