A 25-BORE FLINTLOCK OVERCOAT PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with heavy 4 7/8in. octagonal barrel, platinum line at breech, the top-flat signed 'LIVERPOOL' (rubbed), slightly bevelled flat lock with stepped and pointed tail, an engraved star-burst and signed 'LANDER & BENBOW' below the pan, roller frizzen, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt, engraved brass furniture and brass-tipped ramrod
