A SCARCE 1805 PATTERN BRITISH NAVAL OFFICER'S SWORD, UNSIGNED,
circa 1810, with straight single-edged broad fullered spear-point blade engraved with floral and naval devices (rubbed, some mild staining), brass stirrup hilt (some age cracks, traces of gilding), the broad langets with raised carved fouled anchors, back-strap with carved lion head pommel, ribbed ivory grip with wire binding, complete with its brass mounted leather scabbard (leather renewed in antiquity)
