the pommel with a silver cap embossed with a horseman and hallmarked for Chester 1889, the straight single-edged 21in. shortened blade with full length fuller and etched with scrolls and the word 'TOLEDO' both sides of the etched cross-guard folding against the blade and originally spring-loaded, signature to both sides of the forte, plain re-blackened malacca hilt and matching plain re-blackened scabbard, iron ferrule, 34in. overall, locking catch at fault
