circa 1870, with slightly curved 19in. blade broadening at the tip, the hilt comprising of a smooth faceted section with applied beaded bands, the grip section of heavy guage wire forming ribs with twisted wire between and spire lobed pommel, the scabbard with applied wire decoration forming arabesque designs and applied sheet decoration possibly nielloed, the throat with later red cord binding
