Provenance: Scott Wilson began learning about guns from the tender age of 8 from his father, the highly regarded self taught gunsmith John Wilson. John began working in the gun trade in the late 1960's, having de-mobbed from the Parachute Regiment. Probably best known publicly for his exceptional walking stick shotguns, John also made and designed his own sporting guns too, whilst undertaking regular work for esteemed London gunmakers such as Holland & Holland and J. Purdey & Sons.
Scott started his apprenticeship with his father at the age of 16 and has been a full time gunsmith for over 30 years. He is currently training his own part time apprentice, Helen Wesson.
