circa 1930, 25in. nitro barrel engraved 'REMODELLED FOR THE SAVAGE HORNET CARTRIDGE. BY A.G. PARKER & CO. LTD. BIRMINGHAM.' over two lines, fitted with an Ajack 'Klein' target scope, serial no. 19411, in low profile to the barrel, engraved scope rings, 1 1/8in. wide martini-action body with cocking-indicator flag, beaded border engraving, the left side with 'TRADE MARKS', 'B.S.A.' and the piled arms logo, the right with mechanism retaining screw, retaining much original blued finish, 14in. figured pistolgrip stock including buttplate, weight 7lb. 10oz.
